The Sealey SPBC30 Battery Support Unit and Charger solves this problem in one compact unit. Its 13.5V DC battery support mode delivers a continuous 30A supply to hold battery voltage stable throughout diagnostic sessions, while its fully automatic 7-stage charging function handles 6V, 12V, and 24V batteries including EFB, AGM, GEL, lead acid, calcium, and stop/start types with auto chemistry selection so the correct charge profile is always applied. A dedicated selection button also enables lithium battery charging. The zero-volt charging function allows recovery of completely discharged batteries, provided any load has been removed, and the sulphation repair mode works to restore older or neglected batteries. With a 30A charge output at 6/12V (16A at 24V), it is suitable for battery capacities from 60Ah to 300Ah. The intuitive LED screen displays charging voltage, current, battery capacity percentage, and illuminated charging stages throughout the process. Built-in protections cover reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature, and overcharging, and a cooling fan operates only when needed to keep the unit quiet during lighter work. Supplied with 1.1m cables and clamps, the compact 210 x 76 x 225mm unit includes mounting brackets for permanent workshop installation and carries a 5-year guarantee. Operating temperature range is -15°C to 50°C. Supply: 230V ~ 50Hz, 2.9-3.2A. IP rating: IP20.
