The SIP 03696 is a 75-tonne capacity pneumatically-assisted shop floor press designed for a wide variety of demanding garage and workshop applications. Built around a heavy-duty steel frame engineered for exceptional durability, it delivers reliable pressing performance across a fully adjustable workbed, making it equally suited to production environments and busy trade workshops.
The press handles an extensive range of tasks including the pressing of bearings, bushings and sleeves, bending or shaping metal rods and bars, straightening bent metal, bonding and riveting, punching holes in sheet and plate materials, and forming sheets into various shapes. It is particularly well-suited for the removal and installation of bearings, wrist pins, universal joints and pulleys, covering the most common and repetitive workshop press operations.
A glycerine-filled manometer is fitted to the gauge assembly, protecting it against adverse conditions and corrosion whilst providing higher-accuracy pressure readings during operation. The fully adjustable workbed accommodates a working range of 160 mm to 880 mm, supported by a 250 mm ram stroke. Overall machine dimensions are 1,940 mm (height) × 1,150 mm (width) × 800 mm (depth), with a bed width of 800 mm — dimensions that confirm this as a full-footprint floor-standing unit.
