A threaded screw allows accurate depth setting, while precision-machined pivot pins enable smooth one-handed operation with minimum play for ease of use. The two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle maximises grip and user comfort, and integrated horns prevent the tool from slipping onto live conductors — a critical safety feature in energised environments. These wire strippers are tested to 10,000V and are certified suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, meeting the exacting requirements of VDE-rated electrical work. The handle incorporates a tethered fixing solution designed to comply with Work at Height Regulations, making these strippers suitable for elevated working environments. Compatible lanyards (Stock No. 82474) and wrist straps (Stock No. 03740) are available separately. Overall tool length is 160mm.
