The Draper Expert HI-TORQ® double ring reversible ratchet half moon spanner set addresses this directly: the curved half moon profile allows the spanners to reach around obstructions where a straight tool cannot, while the 100-tooth ratchet mechanism enables just 3.6° of movement per stroke — a significant advantage when swing arc is restricted. Each spanner features Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 12-point ring ends engineered to grip the flats of a fastener rather than its corners. This geometry distributes load across the flats, transmitting more torque to the nut or bolt while protecting the fastener corners from rounding damage. Reversible action allows the ratchet direction to be switched without removing the spanner from the fastener. The spanners are manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel and carry a mirror chrome plate finish for corrosion protection. The five-piece set covers the most commonly used metric sizes: 10×12, 11×13, 14×16, 15×17, and 19×22 mm, with corresponding lengths of 130, 156, 167, 200, and 230 mm. The set is supplied in a wallet/roll for organised storage and protection in a working environment.
