Achieving a secure fastener grip in confined or awkward spaces demands more than a standard spanner. Draper Expert HI-TORQ® double ring ratchet half moon spanners are engineered to meet that challenge, combining a curved profile with a 100-tooth ratchet mechanism that requires only 3.6° of movement per stroke — allowing work to continue where swing arc is severely restricted. Manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, each spanner carries a mirror chrome plate finish that provides corrosion protection and facilitates cleaning. The curved half moon shape allows the user to reach around obstacles that would obstruct a conventional ring spanner. Both ring ends feature 12-point Draper Expert HI-TORQ® geometry. This design grips the flats of a fastener rather than its corners, distributing load more evenly across the flat faces. The result is greater torque transmission to the nut or bolt, reduced risk of rounding fastener corners, and improved grip — particularly on worn or corroded fixings. The 15 x 17 mm spanner is available individually or as part of a five-piece set supplied in a wallet/roll for organised storage and transport.
