This 12-piece Draper Expert HI-TORQ® metric flexible head ratchet combination spanner set is engineered to meet that challenge, combining three key design features in a single instrument: a 180° flexible head, a 100-tooth ratchet mechanism delivering 3.6° of movement per stroke, and an open end set at 15° to the handle — all of which make the set well suited to restricted-access applications. The ring end carries the Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 12-point profile, which grips the flats of a fastener rather than the corners. This geometry distributes load across the flats, transmitting more torque to the nut or bolt while reducing the risk of rounding fastener corners under high load. Each spanner is manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel with a mirror chrome plate finish for corrosion protection. The set covers 12 metric sizes — 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 mm — with corresponding lengths of 135, 158, 158, 174, 174, 185, 193, 215, 215, 231, 249, and 249 mm respectively. The full set is supplied in a storage and carry rack, keeping all 12 spanners organised and ready for use in the workshop or on site.
