Where restricted access makes conventional spanners impractical, the Draper Expert HI-TORQ® Flexible Head Ratchet Combination Spanner provides the reach and movement needed to work confidently in confined spaces. The 180° flexible head combined with a 100-tooth ratchet mechanism delivers 3.6° of movement per tooth, allowing incremental fastener rotation even when swing arc is minimal. The open end is set at 15° to further aid access in tight areas. The ring end features the Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 12-point profile, engineered to grip the flats of a fastener rather than its corners. This load distribution across the flats transmits more torque to the nut or bolt whilst reducing the risk of corner rounding or fastener damage — a meaningful advantage when working with stubborn or frequently turned fixings. Constructed from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, the spanner is finished with black electroplating for corrosion protection, making it suitable for workshop environments where exposure to fluids and moisture is routine. This 17mm spanner is available individually and as part of a set; sets are supplied in a storage and carry rack for organised access.
