Workshop environments that involve exposure to chemicals or chrome-plated components present a genuine hazard, as these materials can give off poisonous fumes. The Draper 37527 Single Open End Spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel and finished with a black phosphate coating, making it especially suitable for use in such conditions where standard chrome-finished tools would be inappropriate. The spanner is hardened and tempered throughout, and the head is set at a 15-degree angle to improve access in confined spaces. A raised collar around the jaw adds structural reinforcement, contributing to the overall rigidity of the tool under load. With a 16mm jaw size, this open end spanner is a dependable single-size hand tool for professional workshop and industrial use. The black phosphate finish provides a non-reflective surface while offering resistance appropriate to chemically demanding environments.
Forged from chrome vanadium steel with head angle set at 15°. Raised collar around jaw. Hardened, tempered and black phosphate finish. Especially suitable for use in areas where chemicals and chrome plate can give off poisonous fumes.
