Conventional chrome-finished spanners can pose a hazard in environments where chemicals react with chrome plate to release poisonous fumes. The Draper 37525 Single Open End Spanner 14mm addresses this directly with a hardened, tempered and black phosphate finish, making it especially suitable for use in such conditions. Forged from chrome vanadium steel, the spanner is built to withstand the demands of professional workshop and industrial use. The head is set at a 15° angle to aid access in confined spaces, and a raised collar around the jaw provides additional rigidity and control during use. The black phosphate surface treatment offers corrosion resistance without relying on chrome plating, ensuring the tool remains serviceable in chemically aggressive environments. Supplied as a single 14mm open end spanner, it is a practical addition to any toolkit where safety and durability in specialist conditions are a priority.
Forged from chrome vanadium steel with head angle set at 15°. Raised collar around jaw. Hardened, tempered and black phosphate finish. Especially suitable for use in areas where chemicals and chrome plate can give off poisonous fumes.
