The screwdriver is individually tested to 10,000V and is suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. It is manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900, the recognised standard for insulated hand tools used on live electrical installations. The ergonomic soft-grip bi-material handle is engineered to allow free spinning in the palm of the hand for rapid screw tightening, whilst also enabling effective torque transfer when greater force is required. Flat sides on the handle prevent the tool from rolling on the workbench. The SVCM steel blade is hardened, tempered and chemically blackened, with a precision-machined tip for an exact fit to the fastener slot, reducing the risk of screw damage during use.
