The four-mandrel mechanism delivers synchronous feed to achieve optimum crimping results with eight indentations per crimp (4/8-Indent), ensuring consistent contact geometry on every cycle. A ratchet mechanism maintains repetitive, high crimping quality and can be unlocked when required. A universal positioning aid provides flexible adjustment to all contact lengths, and crimp depth position settings are clearly readable directly on the pliers. Calibration is supported by precision-ground Go/NoGo gauges supplied with the tool, allowing quick quality control at any time: the Go gauge must fit and the NoGo gauge must not fit. The ergonomic design prioritises low-fatigue operation through an optimised opening width, comfortable multicomponent grips, and low manual force requirements achieved via lever transmission.
