Unreliable or inconsistent crimps can cause electrical failures in professional wiring installations — the Draper 56383 Expert Ratchet Crimping Tool and Terminal Kit addresses this through a ratchet action mechanism that delivers continuous crimping at preset tension, ensuring an accurate crimp every time without manual guesswork. Constructed from carbon steel with hardened and tempered jaws, the tool is finished with a chemically blacked coating and fitted with PVC grips for controlled handling. The three-channel jaw configuration covers a broad range of insulated terminal sizes: the red channel accepts 0.5–1.00mm, the blue channel 1.5–2.5mm, and the yellow channel 4.0–6.0mm, making this kit suitable for a wide variety of insulated terminal crimping tasks in automotive, electrical and workshop environments. The kit is supplied with approximately 590 mixed pre-insulated terminals housed in a steel storage case with insert, keeping terminals organised and protected on the workbench or in transit. The ratchet action ensures continuous operation throughout the crimping stroke, reducing the risk of incomplete crimps. Display packed and ready for immediate professional use.
