Working with seized fasteners, drive pins, or hardened materials demands tools that hold their edge and resist deformation under repeated hammer blows. The Draper 13042 Expert Chisel and Punch Set provides a five-piece selection of precision-ground striking tools manufactured from special air hardened chrome vanadium steel for long life, ensuring durability across sustained workshop use. Each piece features accurately ground cutting edges and tips, with specially tempered heads designed to absorb impact force without mushrooming or cracking. The combination of air hardening and chrome vanadium steel construction delivers consistent performance whether driving, aligning, or cutting. The set comprises five tools covering the most common workshop punching and chiselling tasks: one flat cold chisel at 20 x 150mm, two parallel pin punches at 3 x 150mm and 5 x 150mm respectively, one taper pin punch at 3 x 120mm, and one centre punch at 4 x 120mm. This range of profiles allows technicians to handle pin removal, centre marking, and cold cutting from a single organised set. All five pieces are supplied in a plastic holder on a display card, keeping the tools organised and readily accessible in the workshop. The Draper Expert quality designation reflects the air hardened chrome vanadium steel construction and precision ground finish that distinguishes this set within the range.
Expert Quality, manufactured from special air hardened chrome vanadium steel for long life. The cutting edges and tips are accurately ground, with specially tempered heads. Packed in plastic holder on display card.
