The Sealey SM94 Hollow Chisel Mortiser is a bench-mounting machine designed to solve exactly this problem, delivering repeatable, precise mortises with minimal effort. Twin uprights with a hydraulic damper carry the head assembly smoothly, while an adjustable depth stop ensures consistent results across repetitive work. The 370W heavy-duty induction motor drives the spindle at 1400rpm, with a spindle travel of 132mm and a throat depth of 76mm. The integral 13mm drill chuck is accessible from both sides of the head for easy bit changes, and the chisel capacity covers 6-12mm to suit a range of mortise sizes. A no-volt release switch prevents accidental restart after a power failure or jam, adding an important layer of safety. The machine is supplied with a 3/8" mortising chisel and includes a table and workpiece clamp assembly, giving you everything needed to get started. Table size is 340 x 150mm and overall dimensions are 340 x 355 x 640mm. Runs on 230V AC 50Hz supply.
