When mains power is unavailable and water must be moved fast, a petrol-driven pump kit provides the self-contained solution required. The Draper 92776 Emergency Flood Kit 2 is built around a 2.5HP four-stroke petrol engine producing a maximum output of 85 litres per minute, making it well suited to pumping out flooded premises, footings, and large ponds without any dependency on an electrical supply. The petrol pump features a recoil pull start, a 25mm hose outlet, and is supplied with two metal hose couplings, a suction filter, and a box spanner. The 98cc engine draws from a 1.4-litre fuel tank and is capable of lifting water to a maximum head height of 10 metres, with a maximum suction head of 6 metres. The kit includes a 1-inch PVC suction hose (SKU 20469) with clear walls for straightforward visual checking of fluid transfer and spiral reinforcement for flexibility during positioning. Also included is a 10-metre layflat heavy duty hose (SKU 45343) with a reinforced black liner engineered to withstand higher bursting pressures. Both the suction and output apertures are 25mm. The complete kit weighs 11kg. Three components are supplied as a matched set: Petrol Water Pump 1-inch 25mm (SKU 87680), 1-inch PVC Suction Hose (SKU 20469), and Layflat Hose 10m x 25mm Bore (SKU 45343), giving operators everything needed to deploy rapidly in an emergency pumping situation.
