The Draper 56244 Cylinder Hone addresses this by combining a flexible drive shaft with adjustable honing pressure, allowing the operator to maintain proper alignment throughout the stroke and dial in the exact cutting force required for the application — particularly suited to motorcycle and similarly small-bore engines with cylinder capacities between 25 and 57 mm. The hone is compatible with both electric and air drills, giving workshop technicians flexibility in their choice of drive tool. The maximum working speed is 2,400 r/min, and the overall tool length is 210 mm. The unit is supplied complete with a 220 grit stone set, appropriate for the finishing stages of cylinder reconditioning. Replacement stone sets are available separately under Stock No. 56247, ensuring continuity of use without the need to replace the entire tool.
