Demolition and heavy striking tasks demand a tool built to withstand repeated high-impact use without failure. The Estwing ESH-636F Fibreglass Shaft Sledge Hammer meets that demand through a construction engineered around strength, durability, and operator safety. The shaft is double-injected and reinforced with over 70% fibreglass, delivering maximum strength on every swing. The drop-forged head is induction hardened for long-term resilience under sustained striking loads. A thick rubber overlay positioned below the striking head provides overstrike protection, guarding both the shaft and the operator against the forces of a missed or glancing blow. The textured rubber grip is designed to reduce impact vibration transmitted to the hands and wrists, and supports a comfortable, secure two-handed operation throughout extended use. Together these features make the ESH-636F suited to professionals who require a reliable, fatigue-reducing sledge hammer for demolition, construction, and general heavy-duty striking work. Weighing 2.7 kg (6 lb), the hammer balances striking mass with manoeuvrability, making it a practical choice where controlled force is required. Ultra-robust construction is designed for durability and reliability in demanding workshop and site environments.
