The Draper 11967 12/24V Battery Starter/Charger addresses both demands directly. Compatible with lead-acid, lead-acid maintenance-free, lead AGM, lead calcium, and GEL battery types, it operates on a single-phase 230V – 16A supply and delivers a charging output switchable between 12V and 24V. Effective charging current reaches 75A (RMS), with an average charging current of 50A to EN60335. When engine starting assistance is required, the unit provides a cranking current of 360A (RMS) effective, or 280A average to EN60335, making it suitable for heavy-duty workshop and yard use. Safety is addressed through polarity inversion protection, thermal overload protection, and a battery timer, while an easy-to-read ammeter allows the operator to monitor charging progress at a glance. Insulated copper leads are supplied, ensuring a secure, low-resistance connection to the battery terminals. A transport handle and trolley wheels allow the unit to be moved freely around the workshop or yard without difficulty. The charger measures 350 x 260 x 615mm and weighs 23kg. Contents include one 12/24V Battery Starter/Charger, 360A.
