Accurate electrical diagnosis is essential in automotive workshop environments, and the Draper 41821 Automotive Digital Multimeter delivers both auto and manual ranging across a comprehensive set of measurement functions. It handles voltage, current, resistance, diode testing and continuity testing, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle electrical fault-finding tasks. The meter features a backlit LCD screen for clear readings in low-light workshop conditions. Additional functions include DWELL (4, 6 and 8 cylinder), TACH (4, 6 and 8 cylinder), MAX hold, data hold, auto power off and a continuity buzzer, covering the core diagnostic requirements of professional automotive electrical work. AC and DC voltage ranges span 200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V and 600V. AC and DC current is measurable across 2A and 10A ranges. Resistance measurement covers six ranges from 200Ω through to 20MΩ. Diode on/off testing is included. Frequency and capacitance are not supported. The instrument weighs approximately 319g and measures 150mm x 74mm x 43mm. Powered by 2 x AAA batteries and supplied complete with test leads and a protective case, the Draper 41821 is ready to use from delivery.
