Moisture, particulate contamination and unregulated pressure cause premature tool wear and inconsistent results; this Draper 70824 combined filter/regulator/lubricator unit addresses all three issues in a single inline installation. The unit controls output air pressure, eliminates moisture and contaminants from the airflow, and lubricates connected tools during use. A 40-micron filtration element captures particulate matter, while the manual/semi-automatic drain allows accumulated moisture to be removed from the steel screw-on transparent bowl. The transparent bowl enables at-a-glance inspection of the drain condition without interrupting workflow. The main body is constructed from aluminium with a polished silver finish, keeping the unit lightweight at 0.98 kg. The steel-cased pressure gauge is dual-marked in both psi and MPa for versatile reading. Inlet and outlet connections are 1/4" BSP threaded, with a maximum inlet pressure of 145 psi. The working temperature range is 5–60°C. Overall dimensions are 214 x 170 x 97 mm. The unit is supplied complete with a wall bracket for fixed workshop installation, allowing it to be positioned conveniently in line with an existing compressed air circuit. The 1/4" BSP thread is a widely used standard in UK workshop compressed air systems.
