Product Number: AC88
When disconnecting air couplings under pressure, an uncontrolled release can cause dangerous hose whip a serious risk in any workshop or engineering environment. The PCL AC88 screwed safety adaptor addresses this with a built-in safety choke that allows air to vent slowly when disconnected from a coupling, preventing sudden hose movement and reducing the risk of injury. Fitted with a 1/4"BSPT male thread, the AC88 delivers a free airflow rate of 43cfm (1218L/min) at 100psi (7bar), maintaining full performance during normal operation. Manufactured in the UK, it is compatible with PCL Airflow, Vertex, Safeflow, Non-corrodible, and other standard PCL coupling bodies, making it a versatile addition to any compressed air system. Suitable for use with all types of air tools across workshop and engineering applications, the AC88 is a straightforward upgrade that adds a meaningful layer of safety to your air line connections. Supplied individually.
