Worn or ill-fitting hose tailpieces cause air leaks and reduce system efficiency. The PCL AC21T is a hose tailpiece from the Airflow range, designed to accept 9.5 mm (3/8 in) internal diameter hose, providing a secure airline connection point for compressed-air systems.
The AC21T is part of PCL's Airflow coupling series, which carries a series-rated bore of 4.8 mm and a flow capacity of 43 cfm at 100 psi. The range is rated for a maximum working pressure of 14 bar (200 psi) and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. The Airflow series is also cross-compatible with Cejn 295 and Rectus 19 interchange standards.
Manufactured in Sheffield, UK, by PCL — part of HORNGROUP — the AC21T continues a manufacturing heritage dating from 1938. It pairs with the corresponding Airflow series male and female quick-release couplings to complete a compressed-air airline connection.
