Worn or mismatched hose tailpieces cause air leaks and interrupt reliable connection across airline systems. The PCL AA5110 is an InstantAir series adaptor fitted with a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) internal diameter hose tailpiece, reference PT8802/SU4, designed for use within PCL's InstantAir coupling range.
The InstantAir range is rated to a maximum working pressure of 17 bar (250 psi) and carries a series bore of 5.6 mm, supporting a flow rate of 54 cfm at 100 psi. The operating temperature range for the series runs from -20°C to 80°C, making the components suitable for year-round workshop use.
The AA5110 tailpiece accepts 6.35 mm (1/4 in) internal diameter hose, providing a direct push-on or crimp connection point at the hose end of an InstantAir airline assembly. As a hose tailpiece adaptor, it forms the hose-side termination within a compatible InstantAir coupling pair.
PCL manufacture their airline fittings in Sheffield and have done so since 1938. The AA5110 is part of the HORNGROUP portfolio.
