The SIP FIREBALL 1706 Propane Space Heater (SKU 09291) is a powerful and portable propane heater designed to quickly and effectively heat large-sized workshops and garage spaces. With a maximum heat output of 170,607 BTU/hr (50kW) and an approximate heating area of 1,145 m³ (40,435 ft³), this floor-standing unit delivers the sustained, high-capacity warmth demanded by professional workshop environments.
The FIREBALL 1706 is built around durable components engineered for effective fuel transfer and even heat distribution. A gas diffuser optimises fuel transfer, whilst a powered fan ensures consistent heat distribution throughout the space. Safe and reliable start-up is achieved via a push-button Piezo ignition system, and a thermocouple-controlled solenoid valve governs gas distribution whilst providing flame failure safety. A front-mounted protective grille and an internal safety overheat thermostat afford additional protection during operation. The heater carries a powder-coated finish for long-term durability and is fully Energy-related Products (ErP) compliant.
The unit operates on propane with an approximate fuel consumption of 3.63 kg/hr and requires a 230 V (13 A) input supply for the powered fan. Supplied complete with an approved gas regulator and hose, the FIREBALL 1706 is ready for immediate deployment in workshops, garages, and similarly large industrial or commercial spaces.
The compact, floor-standing design incorporates a strong-grip carry handle, making it straightforward to move the heater between locations as operational requirements change.
The SIP FIREBALL 1706 is covered by the SIP 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty.
