The Sealey AK4719 is a 19-piece fully ground coated HSS drill bit set designed to address these problems directly. A 135° split point enables each bit to bite into the workpiece immediately, eliminating the need for a centre punch on most materials. The fully ground coating reduces friction and heat during use, while the geometry of the flutes promotes quicker swarf clearance from the cutting edge producing a superior quality of finish compared to normal HSS drills. The set covers 1-10mm in 0.5mm increments, conforming to DIN 338, and is supplied in a storage case to keep bits organised and protected between uses. Particularly well suited to stainless steel and copper.
