Flap discs combine the cut of a sanding disc with the durability of a grinding disc - bonded abrasive flaps that wear back to expose fresh grit. Aluminium oxide flap discs are the right choice for general-purpose surface preparation on softer ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The Sealey FD12540E is a Ø125mm aluminium oxide flap disc with a Ø22mm bore at 40 grit, for descaling, rust removal, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation. Abrasive flaps are bonded to a rigid backing with epoxy adhesive - no backing pad required. Depressed-centre design, suitable for electric and air angle grinders. Max 12250rpm, max operating speed 80m/s. Backed by Sealey's guarantee in addition to your statutory rights.
