SIP 08256 VSDD Rotary Screw Compressor 4kW 160ltr 8 Bar is a variable speed, direct drive screw unit designed for continuous use in small to medium workshops. A 4kW (5hp) IE4 motor on 230v (32A) drives twin parallel rotary screws via a direct drive transmission, delivering 19CFM (530ltr/min) Free Air Delivery at up to 116psi (8bar) into a 160ltr receiver. The gearless drive eliminates belt slip, improves power transfer and reduces component stress, lowering maintenance and energy costs. Inverter control provides soft-start and slope-down functionality, spreading torque evenly on start-up and reducing load as the tank reaches pressure, while automatically adjusting air output to match demand. A heavy-duty silenced cabinet keeps noise to around 65dB(A), and a colour touchscreen display provides real-time diagnostics including receiver pressure, motor voltage, internal temperature, load status and operating hours. Easy access through a single cabinet panel simplifies servicing, and the wheel-mounted all-in-one design offers a compact footprint for mobile or static installation in workshops, automotive bays and light industrial environments.
