Product Number: 6823N
The WAI 6823N is a brand-new 24V 7.2kW starter motor. It is built to the Delco PLGR design, replacing original-equipment units from Denso (including 428000-1440, 428000-1441 and 428000-1442), Bosch (9 000 084 024), Remy, Iskra, Mahle Original, Prestolite, and Letrika across 94 verified cross-references. It is a direct-fit replacement for heavy plant, construction, and industrial equipment running demanding 24-volt electrical systems.
Clockwise rotation and a 12-tooth drive pinion match the original Delco PLGR specification precisely, so the unit installs without modification. Being supplied brand new — not remanufactured — means all internal components are at full service life from day one, with no accumulated wear from a previous working cycle.
The 6823N covers 96 recorded applications across 11 makes, with the largest fitment group being Caterpillar agricultural and industrial machinery (57 applications). Case equipment is also well represented, including the 1150E, 1155E, 1450, 1550, 821, 9040 and several other models. Further coverage extends to Fiat-Allis, New Holland Industrial, Timberjack, Dresser, John Deere, Lister-Petter, Perkins, Prentice, and Driftech.

Exploring the WAI Starter Motor and Alternator at Partsformachines.com Introduction: In the Plant and Agriculture sector, a starter motor and alternator are parts that ensure a machine runs smoothly. At Partsformachines.com we have partnered with WAI, a global manufacturer of auto and plant machinery parts to off...
The best way to find the correct starter motor is to combine the machine and engine details with the OEM or original starter reference, then confirm voltage, rotation, pinion teeth, mounting and terminal position. Do not choose a replacement from appearance alone.
A starter motor usually clicks without cranking because the battery cannot deliver enough current, resistance is present in the battery cables or engine ground, or the starter control circuit and solenoid are not operating correctly. A click does not automatically mean the...
