Rather than combining banks on voltage alone, it responds to charge-enable signals from a compatible battery management system, ensuring the alternator or charger feeds the lithium bank only when the BMS permits. This protects both the battery and the charging source from out-of-condition operation. At 120 × 110 × 110 mm and 0.3 kg, the unit is compact enough for installation in marine, leisure, and commercial vehicle electrical panels.
