The Victron Energy Cyrix-i CYR010400000 is an intelligent battery combiner rated at 400 A continuous duty across 12 V and 24 V DC systems. Designed to combine multiple battery banks automatically, the Cyrix-i replaces conventional diode combiners and eliminates the voltage drop losses associated with them, allowing each bank to receive a full charge from a single source. The unit operates without a manual switch: internal logic monitors battery voltage and closes the relay when the primary bank reaches a charge threshold, connecting the secondary bank to share the charge.
When the source is removed and voltage falls, the relay opens to isolate the banks and protect starting or priority loads. At 120 mm × 110 mm × 110 mm and 0.9 kg, the Cyrix-i installs into tight engine bays or locker spaces. The 400 A rating makes it suited to high-demand dual-bank installations.
It is one of two current ratings in the Cyrix-i family; the alternative is the CYR020400000 variant. Victron Energy backs this unit with a five-year warranty.
