The Highway Automotive 42124001 Dryer (KBD002) is a replacement air conditioning dryer designed for construction plant and agricultural machinery applications. Carrying OE cross-references across multiple major equipment manufacturers, it is engineered to restore AC system performance by removing moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant circuit.
The KBD002 is cross-referenced against original-equipment part numbers from Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere, Komatsu, as well as Nissens and NRF equivalents, covering a total of 6 verified references. This breadth of cross-referencing supports straightforward identification and fitment confidence across the construction equipment sector.
Verified fitment data confirms compatibility with construction machinery including the Caterpillar 320D. With a gross weight of 0.51 kg and a compact package measuring 310 × 70 × 70 mm, the unit is suitable for direct replacement without modification. The package dimensions reflect the slender receiver-drier form factor typical of excavator and heavy plant AC systems.
