Product Number: 42033003
The Highway Automotive 42033003 is an air dryer unit (reference MED230) designed as a direct-fit replacement for Mercedes Atego and Atego 2 series commercial vehicles. Engineered to maintain dry, moisture-free air within pneumatic braking and suspension circuits, this dryer helps protect downstream components from corrosion and water contamination under demanding commercial operating conditions. Compatibility spans eleven confirmed vehicle applications across the Mercedes Atego range, covering multiple engine variants including the OM900/904, OM906.910, OM906.911/919, OM906.920–926, OM902, and OM906 series. This breadth of fitment makes the 42033003 a practical stock choice for workshops servicing mixed Atego fleets across both the original Atego and Atego 2 generations. The unit is packaged in a compact 80 × 80 × 230 mm form with a gross weight of 0.7 kg, making it straightforward to handle and store. Its modest physical footprint is consistent with a direct-replacement dryer cartridge intended to slot into the existing installation without modification. This part is supplied as a standalone replacement unit. No warranty period is published in the available product data; please contact the PartsForMachines team for warranty clarification prior to ordering. Manufactured and supplied under the Highway Automotive brand.
