Product Number: 42033002
The Highway Automotive 42033002 is a replacement air dryer carrying the internal reference MED229, supplied for the Mercedes Actros — specifically engines OM541 and OM542. Air dryers are a critical component in compressed-air brake systems, removing moisture and contaminants from the compressed air supply before it reaches the braking circuits, valves, and ancillary pneumatic components. With a gross weight of 0.7 kg, the unit is a compact, direct-replacement component engineered to restore correct air-drying function and protect downstream system components from moisture ingress and corrosion. The single recorded fitment application is the Mercedes Actros across all variants fitted with the OM541 or OM542 engine. Buyers should confirm their exact chassis and engine specification before ordering to ensure compatibility. In the box: one Highway Automotive 42033002 air dryer (MED229). Country of manufacture: please refer to the product datasheet or contact the team for origin confirmation.
