Product Number: 42031002
The Highway Automotive 42031002 is an air dryer unit — previously catalogued under the AVA reference MND032 — designed as a direct replacement component for MAN commercial vehicle applications. This part restores the moisture-separation function within the air brake and ancillary pneumatic systems of the vehicles it is engineered to serve. Sourced within the Highway Automotive range, this dryer is a straightforward like-for-like replacement that maintains the integrity of the vehicle's compressed-air circuit. Air dryers of this type protect downstream components — valves, actuators and reservoirs — by removing moisture and contaminants before they enter the system, helping to preserve braking performance and reduce the risk of corrosion or freeze-related failures. This unit is confirmed to fit the MAN F 90, MAN F 90 Unterflur (F90 series), and MAN M 90 across all engine variants, covering three applications in total. Buyers specifying for the F 90 or M 90 should verify chassis and build-year details using the selection widget to ensure precise application match prior to ordering. No OE cross-reference numbers are published for this part. Buyers cross-referencing by an existing part number should use our catalogue search by machine model or ask Simon for guidance.
