Product Number: 42045004
The Highway Automotive 42045004 is an air dryer unit (reference SCD109), designed as a direct replacement component for air brake and pneumatic system maintenance on Scania heavy-duty commercial vehicles. This part addresses the critical function of removing moisture from compressed air circuits, helping to protect downstream valves, actuators, and brake components from water-induced corrosion and freeze damage. The SCD109 designation provides a clear identification reference for fleet engineers and workshop professionals specifying the correct unit. This dryer is confirmed to fit five Scania L, P, G, R and S Series R applications across a range of engine variants, including the DC9, DC13, DC16, OC9, and OC13 power units. This breadth of engine coverage makes it a practical stock item for workshops servicing mixed Scania fleets operating these popular drivetrain configurations. The unit is supplied as a single assembly and carries a gross weight of 0.8 kg, with packaging dimensions of 160 × 240 × 110 mm — compact enough for efficient bench storage. Use the selection widget or search our cross-referenced catalogue by machine model to verify fitment against your specific vehicle, or ask Simon if your application is not listed. Every fitment shown is backed by our Fit Guarantee.
