Product Number: 42041003
The Highway Automotive 42041003 is a direct-replacement air dryer, previously catalogued under the AVA reference RED155, designed to restore reliable moisture separation and air preparation in heavy-duty truck air systems. It is engineered as a like-for-like replacement for the original equipment unit and is listed against seven RVI Magnum applications across the AE range. Built to serve the demanding requirements of commercial vehicle pneumatic systems, this dryer maintains the air quality and pressure integrity that brake, suspension, and ancillary air circuits depend upon. The RED155 reference ensures straightforward identification when cross-checking against existing maintenance records or parts lists that pre-date the Highway Automotive catalogue. The 42041003 fits the RVI Magnum AE range, covering variants from the AE 385ti through to the AE 560, across two engine families: the MIDR 06 unit fitted to the AE 385ti, AE 390, AE 420ti, AE 430, and AE 470, and the Mack-EE9 series powering the AE 520 (EE9-530) and AE 560 (EE9-560). Seven applications in total are confirmed across this range, making it a focused replacement part for operators running these specific Magnum configurations. This part is supplied by Highway Automotive, and buyers seeking further technical data or warranty confirmation are advised to use the product datasheet or contact the team directly. Use the selection widget on this listing to confirm your specific model and engine variant, or ask Simon if your configuration is not listed.
