Keeping an Air-Fed PAPR Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet operational depends on a reliable power source, and a depleted or failing battery can interrupt critical welding sessions. This replacement lithium-ion battery is designed specifically for use with the Draper Air-Fed PAPR Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet (Stock No. 02518), ensuring the helmet continues to perform as intended. The battery operates at 12V with a capacity of 4,300mAh, delivering up to 8 hours of operating time from a full charge. When power is exhausted, a full recharge from flat is achieved in 2.5 hours, minimising downtime between uses. The battery is rated for more than 500 charging cycles, supporting long-term, repeated use across demanding workshop and industrial environments. With compact dimensions of 87mm wide, 63mm high and 43mm deep, the battery is engineered to fit within the specific form factor of the 02518 helmet system. It is supplied as a single unit, making it a straightforward like-for-like replacement when the original battery reaches the end of its service life. For welders who rely on continuous protection from the Auto-Darkening system, having a spare or replacement battery available reduces the risk of unplanned downtime and ensures the helmet's powered functions remain consistently available throughout a working shift.
