The Draper 43962 assortment addresses this by supplying 70 metric grease nipples across the most commonly specified sizes and angles, so a matching replacement is almost always to hand without a separate order. All nipples are manufactured from EN-1A steel and heat treated to SAE J534 for consistent mechanical strength. The profiles conform to BS, SAE, DIN, JIS, and IS standards, making them suitable for use with a broad range of greasing points. A yellow zinc plating applied to ASTM B117 specification provides corrosion resistance for storage and in-service use. The assortment contains approximately 20 x M6 straight, 10 x M6 90°, 15 x M8 straight, 5 x M8 90°, M10 straight, and 10 x M10 90° nipples. Straight and angled variants are included across all three metric thread sizes to accommodate greasing points where coupler access is restricted. The full set is supplied in a plastic storage box that keeps the individual nipples sorted and ready for workshop use.
