Grease nipple threads can be a persistent source of downtime when a single-size kit falls short of workshop demands. The Draper 43961 addresses this by supplying 50 assorted BSPT grease nipples across two thread sizes and three angles, covering the most common fittings encountered in automotive and general workshop maintenance. Each nipple is manufactured from EN-1A steel with profiles conforming to BS, SAE, DIN, JIS and IS standards. The steel is heat treated and hardened to SAE J534, providing the mechanical integrity required for reliable grease-point sealing under repeated use. A yellow zinc plating applied to ASTM B117 specification gives each nipple corrosion resistance suited to workshop environments. The assortment comprises 10 x 1/4" BSPT straight, 5 x 1/4" BSPT 45°, 5 x 1/4" BSPT 90°, 20 x 1/8" BSPT straight, 5 x 1/8" BSPT 45°, and 5 x 1/8" BSPT 90° nipples. The combination of straight, 45° and 90° angles accommodates fittings in restricted or awkward locations. The set is supplied in a plastic storage box for organised bench storage.
