The barrel measures 22 mm and the unit carries IP65-grade weather sealing.
The housing and cylinder are constructed from zinc die cast alloy, giving the assembly solid mechanical integrity in a compact form. The cam mechanism is mild steel zinc plated, and a choice of cams is available across the 1407 series. The black textured powder coat finish is also offered in bright chrome and SS304 variants within the range.
