The Metrol 1401-048-20 is a quarter turn tri lock insert featuring a triangle key and M5 screw hole, with an 18mm barrel grip height finished in black textured powder coat. Designed for panel-mounted locking applications, it accepts a 20.1 x 20.1 mm panel cutout and suits panel thicknesses from 1 to 8 mm.
Constructed using zinc alloy die casting with Nylon 6 GF30 components, this insert carries IP65-grade weather sealing, making it suitable for enclosures and cabinets where dust and water resistance are required. The lock type is square 7 mm, and the black textured powder coat finish provides a durable, professional appearance.
Please note that the cam is sold separately; a choice of cams is available within the 1401 series. The insert is also available in SS304 stainless steel for applications demanding enhanced corrosion resistance.
