The 1437 series wing knob compression latch (SKU 1437-110-L15) is a key locking panel fastener finished in black powder coated die cast zinc alloy, suited to enclosures and panels requiring secure, tool-free closure with the added security of CH751 key locking. The lock cylinder accepts CH751 keys, which are supplied with the latch.
The housing and cylinder are constructed from zinc die casting and finished in black powder coat, with a mild steel zinc plated cam and shaft. The latch accommodates a panel cutout of 19.5 x 19.5 mm and is compatible with panel thicknesses from 1 to 16 mm. The adjustable grip range of 11.4–27.2 mm and 66.3–76.2 mm provides flexibility across a variety of panel and door configurations. The hinge carries IP65 ingress protection, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water jet protection are required.
A range of cam profiles are available within the 1437 series, allowing the latch to be specified to suit different panel depth and engagement requirements. The black-finished finish is complemented by a bright chrome variant elsewhere in the range.
