The 1437 Series Non-Locking Wing Knob Compression Latch (SKU: 1437-100-L25) is a die-cast zinc alloy quarter-turn latch finished in black powder coat, designed to secure enclosure panels where tool-free hand operation is required. With a sealed IP65 rating, it is suited to applications where resistance to dust and water jets is necessary.
The housing and cylinder are constructed from zinc die-cast alloy with a black powder-coated finish. The cam and shaft are manufactured from mild steel with a zinc-plated finish. The wing knob design allows hand-tightening and release without tools, making it practical for panels requiring regular access.
The latch accommodates a panel cutout of 19.5 x 19.5 mm and is compatible with panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 16 mm. The grip range covers 25.4–41.1 mm and 52.6–68.3 mm, offering flexibility across a range of enclosure depths. The cam option is described as a range available, and the latch is supplied in a non-locking configuration. A bright chrome finish variant is also available within the 1437 Series.
