The SIP 02709 is a spring-handle chipping hammer for removing slag from ARC/MMA welds. The spring-cushioned handle absorbs impact shock during heavy slag removal, reducing fatigue on extended multi-pass welding jobs. Use after each weld pass to break the slag crust before applying the wire brush. Compatible with all ARC/MMA welding processes.
