Reaching awkward or recessed tyre valves is a common difficulty on twin-wheel axles and commercial vehicles. The PCL CO15A01 is an angled stem hold-on tyre valve connector with a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) i/d hose tailpiece and open end configuration, manufactured in Sheffield by PCL, part of HORNGROUP, with a heritage dating to 1938.
The angled stem design allows the connector to reach tyre valves that a straight connector cannot access comfortably, making it particularly suited to twin tyre inflation. The open end style is compatible with MK3 Tyre Inflators, PCL wall gauges, and PCL portable gauges. A pin within the connector unseats the tyre valve when in use, enabling inflation and pressure checking. The handles on this connector are finished in black.
With a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) internal diameter hose tailpiece, the CO15A01 accepts standard quarter-inch airline hose and integrates with PCL's broader inflation equipment range.
