Difficult-to-reach tyre valves — such as those on motorcycles — can make inflation awkward with a straight connector. The PCL CH4K01 is an angled, single clip-on tyre valve connector from PCL's CH4 connector range, fitted with an 8mm internal-diameter hose tailpiece and supplied with an open end, designed for use with 7.9mm / 5/16" bore hose.
The CH4K01 is manufactured using zinc alloy, aluminium, and brass. Operation is via a thumb push button for quick tyre valve release, and a clockwise turn achieves a secure, vice-like grip to ensure zero air leakage. The 90-degree angled body incorporates a 360° swivel motion, allowing the connector to be positioned freely around difficult valve orientations.
The connector replaces the earlier CO2 connector and is available in both hose tail fitting and female-threaded versions, so the wider CH4 range can accommodate different hose and fitting configurations. PCL state the design has been developed through extensive in-house and external testing.
The CH4K01 is manufactured in Sheffield, UK, where PCL has been producing compressed-air connectors and accessories since 1938. PCL is part of HORNGROUP.
