Tyre valve connectors that leak or fail to seat properly slow down inflation work and risk inaccurate pressures. The PCL CH2K01 is a straight, single clip-on tyre valve connector with a swivel body and an 8mm internal-diameter hose tailpiece, open end, designed for use with 7.9mm / 5/16" bore hose. It is part of the CH2 connector range, manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 and produced using zinc alloy, aluminium, and brass.
The CH2K01 features a thumb push-button release mechanism for quick disconnection from the tyre valve. A clockwise turn achieves a secure grip on the valve, and the connector is stated by PCL to deliver zero air leakage in this configuration. The 360° swivel motion allows the connector to be positioned easily on modern vehicles, including those fitted with larger alloy or steel wheels, as well as designs where valve access is restricted.
The straight body suits conventional valve orientations. The CH2 connector range is also available in a female threaded version for alternative hose connection requirements. The CH2K01 is part of HORNGROUP.
