Cutting through hardwood, softwood, MDF, chipboard and plywood demands a blade engineered to maintain precision and resist the heat and resin build-up that dulls conventional saw blades. The Draper Expert 32821 TCT Circular Saw Blade addresses this with a PTFE coating that improves the ease of the cut, reduces heat in the blade and prevents rusting and resin build-up. The blade is laser cut and fitted with micrograin titanium carbide teeth that deliver thin cuts and little waste. An alternate top bevel grind at a 15° rake angle ensures clean, accurate results across a range of sheet materials and timber. Heat expansion slots are laser cut directly into the body, providing the blade with sufficient room to expand as it reaches operating temperature, protecting both the blade geometry and the cut quality. Anti-friction vents reduce vibrations, helping the blade run true without imbalance, whilst simultaneously limiting noise output — a practical advantage in workshop environments where noise levels matter. An anti-kickback design prevents the blade from feeding too quickly, adding an important measure of control and safety during use. Specifications: 165mm diameter, 20mm bore, 40T tooth count, 1.6mm kerf, maximum speed 8,100rpm, weight 0.170kg. A 16mm reduction bush is included. Compatible with most 165mm circular saws with a 20mm or 16mm bore, including Draper Stock Nos. 55519, 89451 and 57341. Manufactured to EN847-1 standard.
