The variable pitch blade is suitable for cutting metals — including steel brass bronze cast iron and aluminium — as well as plastics and wood to a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8""). Four side slots are incorporated for slug removal keeping the cut clear and the action efficient. The female threaded spindle accepts a 9.5mm arbor enabling straightforward attachment to a power drill for a fast clean cutting action. When undertaking metal cutting applications the use of a lubricant is advisable to prolong the service life of the holesaw. The Draper 34780 is supplied as a single 210mm blade.
