The blade is manufactured from high-quality steel with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to a tough alloy steel body. This welded bi-metal construction reduces the risk of shattering and makes the holesaw highly durable and hardwearing. Four side slots are incorporated to facilitate slug removal keeping cuts clean and the blade clear during operation. The holesaw features a female threaded spindle for fixing to a 9.5mm arbor allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. Maximum cutting depth is 35mm (1-3/8""). When cutting metal use of a lubricant is advisable to prolong service life; Draper Metal Cutting Lubricant 400ml (Stock No. 76109) is a suitable companion product.
